Anne of Green Gables has been produced into two animated series. One is
the Japanese anime
Akage no An, which aired in 1979 as a 50 episode
series.
The second is Anne of Green Gables: The Animated Series,
which aired from 2000-2001. A new television show, Emily,
Girl of the Wind, based
on
Emily
of
New
Moon
series will premiere this year.
