Personal Comments (2001):
I finally managed to catch an episode of Annetoon last weekend.  I really enjoyed it.  It was the episode on Gilbert's birthday where Anne and Diana plan a surprise party for him, but forget to keep the things he liked in mind while planning it.  Anne used her imagination to put herself in another person's shoes to understand them better.  The lesson was obvious, but not overbearing.  I think children would enjoy the show and a lot of adults would enjoy seeing Anne as an animated character as well.  I'm going to try to watch an episode here and there in the future.

I saw a second episode where Anne was in a spelling bee and Peg Bowen put a spell on her where she believed she could no longer spell correctly.  The end of the episode introduced the character "Dryad."  This was also a nice episode, and had a lesson on self-confidence.
