Fun game! How about adding more characters - like some of the girls' friends (e.g., Diana, Ilse). That way, people wouldn't fall into one of only a few personalities.

Was hoping to find some e-text on Among The Shadows and reading the summaries on this site was so frustrating! Read that book in the mid-90's and still searching for it in vain until now! I even went to all the Charlottetown bookstore to ask for this title. Can you imagine visiting PEI for this reason? I'm from Brunei by the way. Have nearly 95% of her fiction works and reading them once in a while, they still made me smile.
Great site and please find me the e-text!

  Hi Val...

I know this is probably not the right place to sign about your artwork, but every time I look at it i am so inspired. You are the most amazing artist and I love your transitions between the most detailed object studies to the most organic and abstract swirls. I feel like drawing now!

And as always, your site looks fabulous - I like the new header!

I am having my own children now and plan on reading this book to them once they are old enough. Thank you for the great book Lucy Maud Montgomery!

When I was a small girl girl I found the Anne books in my local library and became enchanted with them.I then proceeded to the Emily series which I thoroughly enjoyed.I am now re-reading Anne of Green Gables with my msn book club "Books and Reading" and it is wonderful to relive those happy times.I would love to visit Prince Edward Island,it exists in my mind's eye as the most enchanted of places - such is the power of the books.

I used to feel like "my life was a perfect graveyard of buried hopes" because I could never find a site about LMM that had any "scope for imagination." But indeed, we must be "kindred spirits" because I thoroughly devoured your site and loved every minute of it! Thank you so much for compiling such a top-notch collection of quotes, analysis, biographies, and plot summaries. I love LMM novels and was so pleased to read intelligent and thoughtful information about them. I even took the "Anne Quiz." Turns out I am 100%!

I just found out that what I really ate was a tickled tangerine (just a little bit smaller than a tickled orange). Tickled oranges are very rare here in Sunnyvale, CA. I will check out tickledtangerine.com, maybe they will have a solution to my problem. Loved the site.

I LOVE this web site...L.M. Montgomery is one of my very favorite authors, and her books deserve to be more widely read. I come here whenever I can:) If there is a way to read some of her short story collections online, I would be ecstatic...I can't find "Akin to Anne" anywhere, and there is another compilation about courage in the face of adversity I am interested in. Fabulous job with this site, thank you so much!

I have loved Valancy and Barney since I first discovered them some 25 years ago. My husband and I named our home 'Our Blue Castle' in homage of these characters who inspired our lives. Thanks for the great page. It's encouraging to know that my fascination with everything Blue Castle is shared by others!
