Site History of An L. M. Montgomery Resource Page

The premise this site was built on my fascination and love for L.M. Montgomery's writings and the productions based on her stories. I discovered L.M. Montgomery's books as a child. Shortly after this discovery, I watched the Sullivan Entertainment Anne of Green Gables miniseries starring Megan Follows on the CBC with my mother and brothers. I looked forward to watching the series when it re-aired each year. As a teenager, my family moved to the US, and when I thought about the things I most missed about Canada, that wonderful Anne miniseries came to mind.

I began this website with that inspiration in 1998, which started as a page with my personal thoughts on Anne and a few links, and my site has been evolving continually since those first early days. The present goal of the L.M. Montgomery Resource Page is to provide a resource for studying L. M. Montgomery. From 1998-2004, this website existed was hosted at Geocities and was named "L.M. Montgomery in Rainbow Valley: A Resource Page." In 2004, I re-designed and renamed the page "An L.M. Montgomery Resource Page." Unfortunately, I didn't save screencaps of all the previous versions of this site, but below you can catch a glimpse of the past.
