Prada Marfa - Valentine, TX
We visited the Prada Marfa on our trip through west Texas last month as we drove from Marfa to El Paso. The permanent installation is actually in Valentine, TX, outside of Marfa. The building is all alone on Highway 90.
No one was around. I wouldn't have taken this photo from the middle of a highway otherwise.

Here's the store:

Luckily the glass is bullet-proof. "Dialogue Between Two Worlds."

Art begets art. The edge of the building has been decorated with notes, business cards, and other objects,

and many of the fence posts surrounding Prada Marfa bear old shoes.
